What to wear and take with you to the fitness club

Perform exercise in comfortable clothes and shoes. This is not only aesthetics, but also safety: they cling to inventory with wide t-shirts, soft backs do not keep their feet on the treadmill, etc. But the problem of going to the gym is still relevant – a novice athlete hesitates for a long time between his favorite stretched leggings from home and a super-expensive set from a company store.

Gym shoes
While this is one of the most important elements of clothing. When performing many exercises, the support goes to the feet: squats, running, aerobics, zumba, yoga … What is fraught with improper load distribution:

minimum damage – inefficiency of the exercise, just wasted time;
somewhere in the middle – slight pain or sprain after the gym;
maximum – serious injury requiring long treatment.
Remember how terribly uncomfortable to walk in beautiful, but small shoes? Under load, discomfort increases by 3 times. Therefore, choose sneakers strictly in size, width and height of the foot. You may have to try on more than a dozen pairs, but suitable shoes are fully justified.

What to wear and take with you to the fitness club

Stay on sports shoes only. Parade and weekend low-top sneakers on the platform – no, simple converse – no, ballet flats and slates – definitely not. Czechs do not fit, different types of sneakers – everything that does not have a solid backdrop, a dense but flexible sole, and a fit on the foot.

Useful tip – put on your sock. Even if the sneakers seem perfect, no one is safe from dust and dirt microparticles. In addition, changing or washing a sock is easier than a pair of shoes.

It is advised to distribute the purchase of a house at least 1 hour a day. So you will understand how you guessed with the choice and get rid of the ubiquitous adhesive plaster on calluses in your first fitness trips.

If you attend dances, they use 2 pairs of shoes: in the process of training and practicing sports shoes, in the final – a special heel. Grab the shift as well, because in a good gym they ask you to change shoes or put on shoe covers in the lobby. For the shower you will need ordinary rubber slippers (walking barefoot in public places is not very hygienic).

Clothing for the gym
A T-shirt is ideal – not tight, not spacious, slightly tight. Sports tops are good. Breast support is important for girls, so don’t ignore the bra.

In addition to style, material plays a role. It is better to dwell on light synthetics – durable, inexpensive, hygienic. Cotton quickly get wet, and very synthetic creates the effect of a bath. T-shirts for sports are made from different materials that provide good heat transfer. But they cost more than usual.

What to wear and take with you to the fitness club

For the bottom fit:

Sweatpants, breeches.
Leggings.
Shorts.
In the rules of good form, take clothes that are not visible. By the way, think about underwear – it is not very convenient to study in lace or family books. The main requirements for the bottom: elasticity, comfortable length. Jeans is a prohibited material. It is undesirable to practice in a skirt or dress (just pull up), if we are not talking about tennis.

The most pressing question: buy branded clothing for a lot of money or go to the “home”? Neither one nor the other. They don’t save on shoes; for a good pair you have to pay a moderately high price. And clothing for the first time can be inexpensive, not from one set, but comfortable, clean, tidy. Then you yourself will understand if you need to help out a sports store, or in a cheap suit is also not bad.

Gym Accessories
Be sure to come to training with water. You can and should drink to meet the needs of the body. Buying a special bottle is not necessary – ordinary plastic with a dispenser is suitable.

After exercise, you will visit the shower. Sometimes slippers, towels are provided in the hall, sometimes not. Therefore, we select a towel and all the hygiene items for the gym. It is convenient if you have a personal locker for storage – you do not have to carry excess every time from home and back.

Separately, we carry a small towel for working with simulators. It’s ugly to leave sweat marks on your inventory that everyone uses. Therefore, we go into the training zone with water and a towel. It is not forbidden to take headphones and a phone, but we remember the comfort of other people: we leave a tablet with a large screen, a Rubik’s cube outside the hall.

Equipment
Personal include a belt for strength exercises, wristbands, bandages, jump ropes. The first is necessary when working with heavy weight. It holds the abdominal muscles, lower back in the correct position. Without it, exercise can result in serious injury.

How to choose a belt:

the best material is leather;
measure the height of the landing;
tight fitting.
Wristbands fix the wrist. They are used not only in basketball, but also in simple exercises. For example, lifting dumbbells is heavier than usual, while running or doing fitness.
